too 'loose' for illy for me to use...
... are you guys using a wacom tablet type thing when using the eraser?...
... i always find myself drawing my subtraction shape w/the pen tool... the subtracting what I want (erased) using the pathfinder panel...
... i suppose if I were working more organically in illy - that the eraser may come in handy... I've just never had a use for it (or realized what time it may save).

- i am using a tablet with the eraser...i love it... you have pretty good control over the eraser tool if you double click it in the toolbar, you get the options....if you did not knowlinearch
