Moving here in the first place is absurd, even more so working for anything less than 40K/month, and that still doesn't get you very far as far as decent living is concerned.
On 20K/month, you are left with 12-13 after taxes. It's NOTHING in the 3th or 4th (I forget) most expensive capital in the world. I am currently renting out my old 3-bedroom apartment for around that amount per week. Downtown storage units run 2500/month. Eating out at not-swanky-at-all places for lunch every day is ~1000 per week. You don't get a decent dinner out under 700 KR for two. Just congestion taxes driving in and out of the city center is over 400 per week. A beer at a pub is 50. Breakfast at your average corner café is 100.
Now start subtracting all of those things from 12.000 ...
