I always use Safari and the "new" version of Gmail has never worked properly for me. The tab doesn't update the (#) of messages and the little loader is always there, plus the status bar is always half blue cause the page won't fully load or refresh. So annoying. Another thing i noticed is that hinting isn't working when I go to type in someones email address when composing an email, so I have to type the full address (if i can even remember it..)
This happens on multiple computers too. wtf.
