Sorry.. can't get on board w/the country-wide smoking ban going on...
Why does the Gov. get to tell PRIVATE OWNERS of bars/restaurants etc if they can allow people to smoke or not?
Buying smokes is legal as hell and TAXED UP THE ASS... yet the GOV feels a need to be our 'Nannies' and make sure no one is exposed to second hand smoke at their Bar/Restaurant of choice?

It should be the Bar/Establishment OWNER'S decision...
... and if you don't like your clothes or hair smelling like smoke... DON'T GO TO A SMOKEY BAR!!! DUH!!!
FFS... thanks for being our Nanny, State of Illinois!!! (I just moved from AZ... they did it there too... makes no fucking sense and many of the Bars HAVE LOST patrons).
I don't smoke, btw... NEVER HAVE.... Never will... :)
...it's just 'wrong' in my eyes to be Nannies to the entire population... when it is in fact LEGAL to buy/sell AND SMOKE Cigarettes.- because smoking kills. period. fuck a 'private owner' having the 'right' to decide this. it kills. end of story.madirish
