Best Advice: Forget the Name. Whatever you come up will be fine. The biggest hurdle I see in your plan:
"me and a good friend are opening a business"
Ha. been down that root and have the scars and bankruptcy papers to prove it. Business WITH a friend is extremely difficult. Nothing ruins a great friendship like going into business. Now I am not saying that it won't work out fine and dandy for you and your bud, but saying you will encounter situations and stresses that you have not come across in your friendship to date, and will seriously challenge your ability to communicate, because you will be treating business communication as a friendship dialogue (and with it's already established and familiar patterns) which it certainly IS not.
I will ask you the same questions that soe one posed to me at the beginning of a similar juncture, to whit I dismissed as irrelevant (Hey! He's my best bud! which a year and half later turned out to be frighteningly relevant:
Are you both equally invested in the venture - financially AND emotionally? Both have the same clear goals, and priorities?
You may have heard this from other people but seriously sit down and discuss this stuff with your bud...
