I hear you flashbender, you're right too.
The thing with addiction is that YOU need to hit rock-bottom before you will accept that the only cure is lifelong abstinence.
Unfortunately I had to learn this lesson from a family member who was Alchoholic, Bulemic and dependent on prescription drugs too. She got her kids taken away from her and still didn't stop for a few years, even that wasn't far enough of a fall for her.... So basically as there is nothing that anyone except Ms Winehouse herself can do to help her I just sit back, enjoy the phenomenal voice coming out of her wrecked body and hope that she bottoms out before it is too late in order that I can enjoy her singing for a long time to come.
Otherwise she'll join Hendrix and co.
