I'm patiently waiting until January 14th to see if new Macbook Pros are announced. Been saving the money and would love to get one today but I think I can hold out. Just bought an 80 gig ipod classic last night to find out it doesn't work with Windows 2000. Sucks! I may as well hold on to it and wait until I have a new computer to do this.
One question -Can anyone advise on the best way to transfer PC fonts to Mac? I don't know that much about it, but is it true that there are programs that convert them? Can you explain this? I don't want this to be a nightmare.
Really looking forward to having a laptop foremost, but I think I'll enjoy making the switch.
