I'm 37 and I started a family last year. I used to be a really really heavy smoker and I gave that up 3 years before starting a family. That meant going out was affected as I couldn't get drunk without wanting to smoke so the fun of going out drinking six nights a week diminished quickly after that. Basically from that point my life changed completely, and I do feel I live like an older person now but its healthier and frankly I don't miss the crazy nights, as much as I loved them in my youth. I think that when 'youth' adopt a new fashion and you just know you would look like really dumb old fart wearing it, its safe to say you have reached the transition point. I would look dumb as hell dressed like a teenager.
