seems like the _x and _y of the mask (fixed widht and height) are attached to the mousepointer (drag function). apply a setMask to the photo that must be reveiled and there you have it.
load in the next picture every time the mouse crosses a certain _x and _y position, ie. 0,0 and picture._width, picture._height.
or something like that, anyhow, this should get you on the way.
