i received a 2nd degree burn in southern texas last time i went... not fun so i feel your pain.
speaking of pain, i went to the ER and received some vicatin (sp?). Made the nights sleepable and the days somewhat more enjoyable...
also, aloe with Licatin. Heals 'em quick.good luck
