    lvl_13, yeah, I tend to injure / annoy myself a lot while snow shoveling. Here are some ways:

    1) gut attack, as you mentioned.
    2) dropping the snow on a snowbank, only to have the wind immediately blow it all in my face.
    3) slipped on ice
    4) fell into the hole around my transformer and subsequently got stuck there for a while. I eventually had to remove my foot from its boot and come back after to get the boot out.

    Pretty typical stuff...
