go up scott monument :), go on the shit your pants scarey ghost tour under the city (bring a warm jacket though :/), have a drink in the oldest pub in the world (the sheep heid), I stayed in the Scotsman hotel last Saturday night as a naughty surprise for my lady and it was rather pleasent, room 903 baby nice view pretty expensive though :/, you also get use of the pool and steam room and sauna etc.
Go round arthurs seat and drink some mulled wine on the top buy a cheap wee stove and and pan and heat that shit up looking out at the city scape. Take the train to aberdour (silver sands) and walk on the small beach there this way you will cross the fourth water on the famous rail bridge.Get pissed?...
