Yeah, I'm not sure a blog format is the way to go. As salisae pointed out, a lot of your really cool work ends up way down the page. Maybe you could juggle the ordering around so the Wood type museum is at the top?
Also, think about a colored background, maybe even black. I think white screens make most artwork look sterile. Like, look at how crappy and yellow that cookie just above looks on the white. Doesn't look like something I'd want to eat.
