i did some for a show using aircraft grade plywood on the back (basically super thin, yet either stiff or flexible ply) and plexi on the front. home depot had these mirror hangers that are basically a spring loaded lip that you screw into the wall and then let the lips snap around the sandwich (wood/poster/plexi) and give a super clean look.
