what are you puting inside the pack?
try to get something with a good back design that uses an air-flow system and something that has a good amount of inside organization for everything. a good idea will also for it to have a wet/ dry area. get a pack with ergonomic shoulder straps that are very padded, and re-enforced stitched at stress points. make sure the bag has a good amount user feedback, and make sure its trust worthy. find a shop and try a few packs on and try to have them fill the bag with something to give you the idea of having the weight on you.
