you spend a month caring, worrying, thinking, inspecting, second guessing, conversing, and deciding so said client doesn't have to worry about it.
Done right, it will be the last time they need to deal with it and the place will be handed down to the children with the same mark years down the road.
why else do they hire you, so they can get some half assed attempt that gave you a couple months rent and need to do it next year?
fuck all that, i actually care about what i do.
