I've realized I'm not creating anything of real worth to people. You can argue all you want about the value of design and added-selling value, but I (and we) are creating garbage, detritus, noise. Not items people are moved by, feel emotion for, or want to keep and remember (art) but TRASH.

Art is completely subjective and can also be considered TRASH... infact, many times it IS trash... i think that at least with design, there is some sort of purpose to it (whatever it may be!) as opposed to art which is solely an 'indulgence'...
