    You know me - I love being mired in doom and gloom - I get a kick off it,I find it funny - I defy any reasonably intelligent person to be constantly happy.

    The flipside, though, is when the product of this is needlessly harshing on people or coming out with smart arse quips to genuine queries. I'm more than guilty of this myself - but sometimes? I just see it for what it is and it makes me cringe.

    If it's tempered by humour or good advice, then all for the better - when it's meanness for meanness' sake, well.. it doesn't do any one any favours.

    It's days like today where I appreciate why NT is quieter and less engaging than it used to be.

    Skt - this isn't necessarily aimed at you - I was thinking this when I saw Lloyd's response to an e-commerce query below somewhere..
