I've never really understood the need for a specific constitution.
Seems to make the political environment more divisive, if gun law and freedom of speech in America are anything to go by.

(Nov 12 07, 07:17)well you would probably need one if you became a republic - it's just an overall written foundation everybody decides to abide for, telling what are the duties/rights of a person inside a state. It usually happens after a secession or independance when everybody's killing each other.
