Went to a screening and Q&A with Todd Haynes last night. Really enjoyed the flick. This is not a biopic, first off. There's a good NY Times article that sums it up nicely. This is not so much about Dylan, as it is trying to distill what Dylan was and is about. So many changes and radically different personas in his life are painted in the film.
Really dug it. This cut definitely came in a little long though. I do hope he trims a bit more out of there before wide release.
Highly reccomend it. :)
