def. be interesting to see how the dollar did in pre,during,post wartime eras.. although it is different now, i get that.
back then it was bailing out human interests, the last 2 gulf wars have been energy interests
prolly apples and oranges in reason, but military expenditures is what it is.
i guess the main difference now is that we arent an industrial nation like in times past.
