what if it's a different magenta, say rhodamine red? What if it's PMS hex magenta with a slight bump of cyan? They can't trademark a range of colors, since they only use a specific magenta. So use hot pink if you're inclined, just find out what T-MO' uses and do something that is at least subtly different. Problem solved, no?
This is all a moot point of you're doing work for another cell phone co. Using any magenta as the primary color would be stupid, of course, if you want to differentiate the brand.
