Antonelli-Are you asking what category in USCF?
If so, I wasn't in USCF yet. This was just a "ride" that was a very popular one in Ft. Worth Texas, they had a 10, 25, 50 mile and 100K race. I wouldn't say it was a competition between everyone, but I was quite competitive with myself and knocked 4 1/2 minutes off my time from the year before.
I think that was summer after 9th grade, I rode 175 miles a week, good training schedule with days for sprints, climbing, and had played football in school that year and worked out quite a bit.I was set to join USCF that summer, but I had started playing guitar and sort of lost interest once I started playing in a band. I miss it terribly, all I used to think about was being a pro cyclist. Had a nice set up, disk wheel, aerobar, wore all the Team Z stuff that LeMond wore when riding for them. :)
