pardon me for my ignorance - but aren't big North America cities a bit alike? Same happens here.
i mean, having this "scene" or that "scene"... isn't it a bit rubbish nowadays? They all have "scenes", funny people, crazy people.
I very much doubt this city-character thing, like i doubt country-character thing. Of course opportunities vary, but what makes a difference when you choose a place to live is your PLAN. what do you want to do, what chances do you have, etc, etc.
You just don't fall in a place and everything changes.
