the funniest thing that happened to me in brooklyn was when a new friend offered me a dark ale and said it was from BELGIUM like i have never heard of such a foreign concept..
.. and it turns out the he was wrong, because the brew was actually Unibroue, which is a Montreal based brewery..
yeah...
