I ended up going as Flight of the Conchords. I was Bret and my friend was Jemaine.
We didn't think anyone was really going to get it, considering I basically did nothing except draw a fake beard and put on really tight clothes with a deer on my shirt, but her costume came out well and people knew who we were.
I also would just go, "I'm the internet." when people would ask me when the band would split up.
And then I would just reenact a random "famous" internet clip.
