"In California in general you can feel the uncultured americana ignorance of the masses."

Of course this statement is really pissing people off and I understand. Sheez, I did say upfront that I was going to be 'harsh'. Remember 'wealthy white trash minds'. I'm just speaking in obnoxious poetic sweeping general terms here. Purposefully being obnoxious. Obviously. Whatever, I don't give a fuck. I was trying the make the point that it feels as if people in NY at all levels of society are more well traveled and more cultured.

Those are just my impressions though. As a New Yorker visiting California it very often has a prefabricated lost in too many american cliches that need to die vibe.

People in these forums are always asking should I move to NYC or California (Somewhere).
Well, I just thought I'd give you my thoughts straight from the fucking hip. Cause I've lived in both places. Most people here have no idea what NYC is or what it's really about to live and work here. All, I ever hear is about how crowded it is or how small your apartment is. Always bullshit. People never go on about the fucking music of the place. The fucking art and the opportunities all of which are just off the hook. Did you know that temp working as an admin
can easily be making $18 and hour or more? Enough to better yourself and rise to the next level. NY is like that. If you are smart and do your shit right you will win. Period. You don't have to have a degree or family connections, or good luck to get ahead here. You can use your mind no matter who you are. Remember that kids.

    I'm out.
    btw fuck the masses.
