mikotondria:
strawman, mostly.
You say we believe things we do not and then attack them.
Do you know what the biblical term "sin" means? It means missing the mark, literally. Do you believe people are without evil tendencies? Do you believe people should not be held accountable for their evil? Do you believe Hitler rests comfortably in the grave after dying in the comforting arms of his mistress? Oh, let me guess: it is pernicious and sick to believe that we are all equally born into this world as sinners, as the Bible teaches? Maybe you just don't have a high enough view of the creator of the universe and his inability to tolerate sin because of his perfect holiness. Or maybe you don't understand that humans ultimately chose to rebel against their creator, choosing sin over his obedience to his loving commands.
Methinks it is your view which is twisted.
