dude... they barely made the playoffs... they had to battle it out for a spot...
... second... look up their slugging %, OBP and over-all batting averages... the Red Sox DEMOLISH the Rockies in that area...
... and don't get me started in pitching.
What happened for the Rockies post season is that they seemed to get all juiced after that playoff to get in the post season - they were just pumped.
The time off would hurt, yeah... but they truly do NOT have the bats... again - compare both teams post season stats (I think I have links to them earlier in this thread)...
