    I can't help but think that if someone wanted to start writing viruses for Macs, Apple would fold.

    Anyone sharing this sentiment?

    I think this too, but I disagree about Apple's level of service. It's not that bad, at least in my experience.

    None of my Apple products have died prematurely.

    I have heard about horrible stories having to do with Apple AND other companies.

    Many people will always choose style over substance. I'm not saying Apple is exactly all style and no substance, but it is perceived to be that way.
