The branding is very brave for this kind of company but I think it can work (look at http://zopa.com) however it doesn't seem to match the rest of the design. Overall, too many ornamental elements distracting from the content. The nav area looks overdone and cluttered and doesn't seem to match the header so well.
Also if this was my site after the 50th pageview or so I would want to throw a chair at my computer after hearing that annoying intro message.
