My limit's 17.7khz, when played through my fancy schmancy headphones.
On my poxy computer speakers, 16.7khz, but then I can also hear 22.4khz, which is a bit weird.
A friend of mine, who's nearly 40 has a horrifically annoying ringtone, which moves up through the frequencies, across the scale of these 'mosquito' samples. It makes me physically nauseous when it goes off - but the daft old bugger can barely even hear it.
