Friday I downloaded an mp3 of 2nd volume of the 11th edition of the encyclopedia brittanica. A whooping 40 + megs. I thought hmm, maybe it will be entertaining on the bike ride home, might learn something etc.
It was text scan to robot: unlistenable past 5 minutes. Now, there was a certain kraftwerkian elan to the project but really the mechanical adhockery of way it was done overwhelmed the material. Killed it by cheap murder. The death of information and that is what is wrong with HOW.
