i'm sorry to take over this thread but this is just too damn funny.
this place is an interactive marketing firm. (banner ads)
i'm the only web guy here and because they didn't get 2 web jobs they are letting me go.
here is how fucked they will be. i'm overhearing this conversation right now.
the testbed is down and we were supposed to show 12 flash animated banners to a client at 11 and they're fucked because the test server is down.
so their bright idea was to put all 12 ads off of the companies main site and push links straight to the ads, unfortunately when doing so the ads play fullscreen in the window. they're going absolutely ape-shit right now.
i'm sitting here with my headphones on... with the sound off, minding my own business not saying one fucking word.
in 2 minutes i could dump the swfs into an html file and create a div sizing each swf and playing them center screen... but there is no fucking way i'm going to help them.
they're bringing in the flash guy who is going to make them play without the fullscreen but oops.... seeing as how the guy who created the ads was on a pc and he's on a mac he's having font issues and can't do it.
and i, sit here and type, with the sound off, listening to them cuss up a storm, talking to you.
haha. yup. get rid of the web guy.
