Thanks for the link, Stewdio - I love shit like that. Before an old HD crashed, I had loads of 8-bit-esque music from some old mailing list i was on.
I'm surprised that Russian music hasn't had more impact in the West - beyond Tatu, they have some really shit-hot electronica people - fizzarum, EU, Alexandroid, etc. All very original and, dare I say it, intelligent sounding.
I wonder if your Alexei Shulgin is in any way related to one of my 'heroes'..?
