mikotondria: Evidently you didn't get the memo that irreducible complexity has never been "disproven". It has only been met with hand-waving just so stories which point to homology of protein parts in other systems. And things only seem to be getting worse for Darwinists. I guess you don't stay on top of these things, however.
And what does ID have to do with the Bible? Are you still conflating ID with Creationism? Goodness, you do need to get up to speed, don't you. Explain to me:
1. How ID is more than design detection applied to biological systems.
and
2. Who is trying to get it taught in schools.
As for the Bible and reliability, it seems that you need to take an entry level course in Textual Criticism. Start by learning the differnece between inspiration and preservation. Then we could possibly have a productive discussion.
