    mrdobolina: When you choose to believe something, you do so because you are convinced that there is ample supporting evidence. You believe that George Washington was our first president because there is reliable historical evidence supporting the claim. Similarly, when someone believes in Jesus, they do so because there is reliable evidence about his life, ministry, claims, etc...

    So, as much you want it to be some blind, irrational leap. It isn't. It's faith based on evidence.
