yeah, its a well misguided sense of community, imo, when it comes down to things like your state of mind. I genuinely worry about someone discussing depression (which I will assume for the sake of argument is genuine) on a web forum rather than in the real world, with real friends who may actually have some kind of useful input based on their situation and personality, rather than a para or 2 of 9px verdana. that can't go anywhere nice.
