What he did or is doing isn't a bad thing it just needs to be put in perspective of what actually, practically speaking, needs to be done about the issue. Granted he did a heck of job bringing global warming to the for front when everyone is blinded by the war on terror BS but that's about it. Saying the right stuff on camera is easy in the political world. Awarness is a powerful thing no doubt but...he's Mr.VP Gore, a smiling face with his hands in his pockets.
