personally i don't really see why GOre got the prize when you compare him to the other winners

all of them are about human rights, democracy etc while his is an environmental issue. IF he made the issue more political like connecting it to the industry wars in africa or south america and Iraq then I might get it but as far I see it's just a general argument about emmisions and global warming. The issue has a lot to do with peace, preventing wars over oil and resources that pollute, less demand would mean more peace potentially, but that's not exactly the context Gore put it in.
