    History tells us that there were plenty of very significant bouts of global warming way before our industrialization. The 1940's dustbowl era for instance was before we polluted the shit out of the earth. It goes through cycles, we've all known about ice ages for well...ages.

    I agree though that we need to live much smaller, reduce our footprint. It's part of being responsible, but from what a large contingency of experts are saying, it will do nothing to stop our earth from going through it's cycles. We just need to learn to adapt with it.

    For instance I'm going to buy a used missile silo and live underground where I'll develop a menacing exoskeleton suit of rare metals and call myself The Mole.
