(Oct 12 07, 09:08)None whatsoever in my opinion. This has nothing to do with my faith. For once, this discussion is about science and lies outside the realm of Christianity (I know, can you believe it??)
I'd trust the BBC over Gore any day. He needs to go hook up with George Clowney and start a new political party: UninformedKnowitallicrats.

Global warming is obviously happening, however most of the causes have been wrongfully attributed by Gore and his phonies. Global warming is due primarily to the fluctuation in surface temperature of the sun. If you track the sun's patterns over the centuries, it mirrors almost perfectly the temperature patterns on earth. In order words, global warming happening, there just isn't much we can do about it. The pattern will eventually carry on and the planet will go through another cool phase. The last time the world was this warm was in the middle ages, and it got worse than it is now. It eventually cooled off in subsequent centuries.
This DOES NOT mean I think we should just throw our hands up. I am still fully supportive of environmental conservationism. I think we are all charged with the responsibility to be good stewards of this planet by living efficiently and non-destructively.
