The Chicago Marathons temperature hit an all time high at 88 degrees for October. It's estimated that 200-250 people were taken to the hospital.
The cause?!?....
A low pressure system across the Midwest forced warm air from Louisiana (often called Trade-Winds) up and into the plains, resulting in abnormally warm weather.
Sometimes it's all about high pressure systems, low pressure systems, the jet stream and trade-winds.
Other times, it's not.
Sorry about your neighbors dog MrD. At least it's not shitting in your yard. :)
