  thanks nic, but where you have "menu item 2", "menu item 3" etc that's clickable, i'm loading an < img > tag into the text field...I'm trying to make the loaded image call the function when clicked on.

  right now, i replace the "menu item 2" with a little jpg, and when i try to click on it nothing happens :(
