I've suffered this type of cuntery more than once too.
thankfully each time they've been below me and had a shitty little all-in-one stereo thingy turned up to 10 with either Bon Jovi or whatever flavour of shiteHouse blaring on it.
James Brown's "Papa don't take no mess" turned up to about 7 on my stereo with the speakers laid flat on the floor pointing down ALWAYS solved it, that and me stomping around the room "dancing" to the 13 odd minutes of classicness.
