just a little query for kelpie. i'd like him to clarify exactly what he's getting at with the references to currants etc. if his joy is genuine, then he's using terminology that applies to 'them', as 'they' were the original. he should know the historical references to this, and what happened to 'their' park during the war. 'their' ability to deny and deflect, and in this instance, change the meaning of, has ended up in misplacement of a moniker intended for someone else.
