andy...maybe you need to take a class in in physics or something but a lazer doesnt hit every note as a needle does...especially a blue quartz lazer which is what cds are...think of it like a stair case and the lazer only hit the part of the steps where you foot hits but the part that holds the stairs up is completely missed and a lot of sound is also missed, but since it spins so fast your mind cant decifer the difference but a record needle doesnt miss anything.
and if you think to what dance is about is listening to the dj who uses records not mp3s or cds...wack!!!!
