that's not the point at all. the technology changed everything, I'm trying to think of an example when laws simply became outdated and redundant because of a broad shift in history, but it happens all the time, especially these days. The point is that they're not losing anything, could be argued they gain and subsequently all of it does not add up to me or you or anyone else "stealing" something.
I'll let you know when I think of a good example, but basically when tech changes the industries always change and the laws change, in this case the industry is changing slowly and stupidly by sueing left and right and complaining and attempting to incriminate people.
