It's all black and white with you. How about we as a country decide that we're involved in Iraq, like it or not at this point. We can't turn back time. With that in mind there are countries/religious groups that stand to benefit from our withdrawal, which no doubt is a compound mistake on us. So you can't even fault Iran for meddling? If you hate us for acting on our interests, then why aren't you screaming about Iran pursuing their interests? I'm not in favor of war. There are other ways to get them back on their side of the fucking fence.
The world is inept and because of your anger you want to give the keys of the castle to ANYONE other than possibly those completely evil baby eating republicans. We're all angry dob. We've been lied to, there are backroom deals that shouldn't be happening and complete ineptitude in our highest ranks, but I find it really hard to believe that that makes it okay to allow countries to target our troops while we do nothing is an okay thing to do.
If there are Saudi perpetrators then we need to stop them as well. If we can get the external combatants out, then maybe we can at the very least help Iraq get back to a stable situation.
Alright I really just wasted a ton of time. I'm not running away, I'm just a busy guy. I like to read some of these threads from time to time and offer a different point of view. I'm sure you'll disagree with everything I just said, but fuck if I care. I've got to get things done and we're not really changing policy here, just pissing down each others legs.
