fuckin hell, I'm so tired of this "its a tiny minority who ever help anyone and they get pushed out and its meant to be all about design talk and its just shit talking and no one ever cares and no one appreciates anyone blah blah blah" crap on here.
people are constantly being helped on here, with font IDs, with crits, with anything from their life. its no coincidence that its the people who whine about the standard of posts who
A. can't stand a bit of a ribbing and run off crying
B. constantly knock the forum and its members
C. are usually pretty green
this is NOT just for reasoned, chin stroking design debates, it may come as a huuuuuge surprise to some on here, but those of us in jobs where we have to work hard, often on stuff that doesn't really interest us 'artistically' but pays the bills and is perfectly valid work, actually enjoy using this place to let off steam occasionally, and like to inject a bit of irreverence into the threads, gads, I am so glad I live in a world which is not so bloody po-faced as some grinches on here would like.
